FALL 2020 U5-U10 Schedule and Game Dates:
September 30: Deadline for registrations
October 5: U5-U10 Coaches Meeting, Coaches Meet and Greet, deadline for late registrations
October 7: Free player skills clinic offered by TBUR senior staff (*date subject to change) and team rosters emailed and released
October 12 (week of): First week of practices, Coach/Parent/Player Meet and Greet
October 19 (week of): Game Schedules posted, uniform distribution
October 24*: Opening Day of Games

~Uniforms for U12-U19–members will order uniform attire directly via link sent by our club vendor.
~Soccer cleats, shin guards and ball (U8 and younger play with a No. 3, U10-U-12 play with a No. 4, U14-U19 use a No. 5)
~Personal Travel Expenses (if applicable)
~Entry into the January Gasparilla Tournament
~Tournament entry fees other than GYSA EOS for U12 and up

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

All participants interested in Fall Recreational Soccer age groups U5-U10 are encouraged to register by September 30, 2020 by midnight. Registrations received after midnight September 30, 2020 will incur a $15.00 late registration fee. Late registrants are also subject to team availability.

Registrations in age groups U12-U19 are encouraged to register by September 22, 2020 by midnight. Registrations received after midnight September 22, 2020 will incur $15.00 late registration fees. Late registrants are also subject to team availability.

Participants in age groups U12-U19 will be ordering their own uniform via link sent by the club’s uniform vendor. ALL U12-U19 participants are encouraged to register early.

Tampa Bay United will NOT have extra uniforms for U12 and up for those who do not receive in time for season start.

Coaches Needed

Tampa Bay United Recreational Program success is due largely to our Volunteer Coaches. Coaches are needed at all age groups. If you are interested in coaching, select Head Coach or Assistant Coach when registering on-line. A member of the staff will contact you.

All volunteer coaches must pass a National Back Ground check, complete an online Concussion Course (30 Minutes), and complete SafeSport Certification with certificate (online course sent to coach) to coach at any of TBU’s facilities.

Special Requests

Special requests for Coach and practice night conflict. Special requests must be placed in account during registration-no emails for special requests will be accepted.

Requests for coach or practice night conflict is not a guarantee. Payment of $50.00 will be assessed to account if member decides not to participate if special request is not met in addition to club refund policy.

Playing up more than one age group:

Special Requests will ONLY be honored by TBUR in accordance with USYSA (United States Youth Soccer Association) and FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Association) guidelines regarding the Recreational Division. USYSA and FYSA expressly prohibit recruiting or building Recreation Division teams. TBUR is a member of both USYSA and FYSA; therefore, the TB United Recreational Board will abide with this guideline. TBUR failure to comply may result in fines, penalties and/or suspension.**

**No requests will be honored to to play down in age group
**U5-U12 are subject to FYSA play up rules–single birth year play-up only allowed.
**Highschool age players may be combined team per FYSA age guidelines

***TBU reserves the right to combine single year age groups based on registration numbers and FYSA rules for in house soccer. This means a single year age group U5-U8 can be combined to U5/U6 and also U7/U8 in accordance with FYSA playing rules.

Refund Policy

Payment is due at time of registration. TBUR refund policy is as follows: (1) Once registered and a cancel registration request is submitted for any reason up to the time of team assignment, a $25.00 admin fee plus credit card processing fee is non-refundable. (2) Once team assignments have been completed by TBUR, any cancellations received, the member will forfeit any and all registration fees for the program. Any refund requests will be required to be submitted in writing to the designated Campus Program Director noted below.
